The City of Angels, also known as Angels Camp (City) is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from consultants interested in providing civil engineering services to the City. The requested services will require the firm to designate staff to serve in the capacity of Building Official/Inspector. The selected individual or firm (Consultant) will be required to enter into a Professional Services Agreement. The initial term of the agreement is three (3) years with an option to extend the contract for two additional years in one-year increments. The Building Official will become adjunct to staff, working with the City Administrator or designee and various departments to perform professional building services including but not limited to: plan review, permit technician, building inspection and code enforcement. This document outlines the requirements, selection process and documentation necessary to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in response to this RFQ. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
