Channel Grinder Provision and Install Local, minority and small business vendors are encouraged to submit bids. The City of Denton, Texas reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive defects in bids. The City of Denton recently received grant funding from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality through the North Central Texas Council of Governments to investigate the city's ability to manage food waste diversion by introducing waste organic materials collected from selected restaurants, bars, and pubs. To complete this pilot a channel grinder and Seepex pump and associated transfer hosing will need to be procured and installed to facilitate the size reduction and introduction of waste food and other organic materials to further diversion at the City of Denton. The purpose of the Scope-of-work in this Request for Proposal is to procure the supply, installation, and maintenance of a channel grinder, pump and associated appurtenances at the Pecan Creek WWTP anaerobic digester.
