The project is located in the Historic Valley Junction Business District in West Des Moines Iowa. The construction includes approximately 1300 square yards (SY) of pavement and brick paver removal, 70 SY of driveway pavement, 230 SY of sidewalk unit pavers with PCC base, 600 SY of 4-in sidewalk pavement, 200 SY of 6-in reinforced sidewalk pavement, 2100 LF of tree banding and paver edge restraints, 250 LF of decorative metal fencing, 700 LF of PVC electrical conduit, 2800 LF of electrical wiring, miscellaneous excavation and grading, sod restoration, 21 trees, 1200 various landscape plantings, survey, traffic control, and other associated work.
