The Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) is seeking services for the demolition/replacement of approximately 1,300 square feet of existing concrete flooring, and the design/install of a new plumbing system. NO QUESTIONS will be entertained after April 13, 2022. The Prime Bidder must provide a security deposit in an amount equal to 10% of the amount of the bid; security deposit to be in the form of a bidder's bond. This solicitation requires a minimum DVBE participation percentage or goal of three (3%) percent. Responsive bidders must meet the minimum DVBE program requirement by utilizing a DVBE to perform work for at least three (3%) percent of the total bid amount. For all contracts exceeding $10,000, Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond on a standard bond company form, in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. For all contracts exceeding $25,000, Contractor shall furnish a Payment Bond on form STD. 807 in an amount not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
