As of May 31, 2023, an architect has been selected but this project has been placed on indefinite hold due to funding. A timeline for bidding and construction has not been determined but is not anticipated prior to mid 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This bid is to provide architectural design services for a new, approximately 5,000 SF facility to support industrial training in Aurora, NC. This can be stick built or metal with 2 classrooms, M/F restrooms, a large shop/lab area that would include multiple overhead coiling exterior doors, building eave height of 18', some windows, at least two, man doors, 6'' concrete slab, adequate heating and ventilation (including shop area), power and lighting, and water and sewer connections The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
