This project consists of the installation of a 600 kW generator and automatic transfer switch that will be able to provide full backup power to the City of Washington Water Treatment Plant along with associated site improvements. The City of Washington is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any or all bids. All Bidders are required to adhere to the rules set forth in Article 1 of Chapter 87 of the NC General Statutes. All bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total amount bid made payable to City of Washington. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of 60 Days consecutive calendar days after bid opening except as provided in Instructions to Bidders. Bidders must be licensed contractors in the state(s) in which the work is to be completed.
