The Goodridge Social and Agricultural Society is now accepting bids for the 2022 grass cutting season. Area the contract includes: Goodridge Hall/Fire Hall grounds Goodridge Hall playground Goodridge 4-H grounds Goodridge Ball diamonds The requirements of the contract are: Grass cutting of grounds. Will require a minimum of 3 cuts per month depending on weather conditions. Ensure all trim work is kept up to date with each grass cutting. Primarily around the park, fence line, bleachers and buildings Removal of excess grass clippings. Playground sand must be rototilled to keep sand free of compaction and weeds/grass, and should be done at least twice in the term of the contract. Grass cutting at the 4-H grounds would require line trimming around the fence and building and grass cutting in the ditch. Ensure that grass cutting is not being done when the hall is rented. Contractor will need to have liability insurance. Grass cutting of the ball diamonds (located east of hall) is required to do a complete cutting of the area only once per month. Ensure that all line trimming along the fence is kept to date with the grass cutting. The successful bidder can expect four pay periods over the course of the contract with payments on the 20th of June, 20th of July, 20th of August and the 20th of September with submitted invoices. The successful bidder can expect to receive instructions from the Directors of the Society regarding the frequency of grass cutting. Please specify GST included or excluded.
