Demolition, site work and addition to an educational facility in Hillsboro, Illinois. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,000-square-foot educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Project is the construction of an approximate 2000 square foot addition to the existing agriculture building at Hillsboro High School. The building consists of concrete foundations and slab on grade, steel framing and metal stud walls with exposed fastener exterior metal siding and interior metal liner panels along with rigid insulation and standing seam metal roofing system. Mechanical, electrical and fire alarm work are commensurate with the construction of the addition. Civil work includes grading, relocation of existing gas line, concrete sidewalks and storm drainage work. The Owner requires the project to be substantially complete by December 9, 2022. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security of a sum no less than 10 percent of the Bid Sum. The bid security shall be either certified check, cashier's check, bank money order or bid bond issued by surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Hereinafter this bid security shall be referred to as the bid bond. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids/Pricing or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner.
