Renovation of a municipal facility in Panama City, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of June 7, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Bay County Board of County Commissioners seeks bids from qualified vendors for the design, purchase, and installation of a 450kw backup generator and a three phase automatic transfer switch that functions with the new generator. The new generator will provide emergency backup power to the Bay County Sheriff's Office located at 3421 Hwy. 77, Panama City, FL 32405. The new generator shall be designed and installed to meet current local, state and national building and electrical codes. Bidders shall submit all questions, in writing, to the Purchasing Department via email Purchasing@baycountyfl.gov, the Bonfire portal, or FAX to (850) 248-8276. All questions shall be submitted no later than 5:00 pm (CDT) Monday, April 27, 2022. A Bid Bond, in the amount of 5% of the proposed base bid contract amount, shall accompany each bid.
