The works to be constructed under this Contract include the following: The Contractor shall supply all labour, materials and equipment necessary to complete the road, parking lot and miscellaneous markings as shown on the Drawings, for a 5-year term with the work being completed within the time frames of May 1 and June 30 of each year. The Scope of Work under this Contract includes all road centre lines, lane lines, bus turnouts, through roads in parking lots, parking lot stalls and miscellaneous markings. Approximate quantities are as listed in the General Conditions. Inquiries should be directed to engineering@kitimat.ca. Tender documents may be obtained from the District of Kitimat on or after April 5, 2022 by emailing engineering@kitimat.ca. Tenders must be accompanied by a Certified Cheque or Bid Bond valid for a period of 30 days in the amount of 10% of the Year 1 tendered price as bid security. The District of Kitimat reserves the right to reject all tenders or to award the Contract to other than the lowest tender received if it perceives that to be in its best interests.
