The Lake County E9-1-1 recorder system is approaching six years old and has some obsolescence and recommended hardware refresh/replacements, the most prevalent being the servers. Microsoft strongly recommends against upgrading to the most current Operating System until the hardware has been updated and refreshed. We have researched features that would enhance the Lake County E9-1-1 system preparing and providing measures that will be necessary to enhance our system to the most current generatioin. Lake County Office of Public Safety Support is seeking a Public Safety Grade NG9-1-1 Capable Recording System Upgrade and/or Replacement of the solution that is currently in place. The approach remains one system to service the entire network of PSAPs. Lake County would like to remain capable to network the devices and/or provide redundancy to eliminate a sinlge point of failure at any one PSAP plus maintain survivability if the PSAP network is severed and they must operate autonomously. The goal is to meet the needs of all the PSAPs and the County for submittal criteria published in the upcoming State E9-1-1 Grant guidance. Through this RFQ, budgetary quotes are being solicited through State, GSA, or other competitive means. There is a requirement to utilize the recorder system for Redaction and Quality Assurance as well as new and Next Generation functions currentlyh not being utilized. The selected solution will be presented with justification through the 2022 Spring Grant process. All prices submitted are to be on the form below in accordance with all terms and conditions set forth in this Request for Quotation. Prices quoted should be in unit of measure shown. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be made to the responsive, responsible vendor which offers the lowest price on an aggregate basis. If award is noted to be made on an aggregate basis, any vendor response that fails to include pricing for all items may be rejected. Prices shall be quoted F.O.B. Destination - inside delivery, freight included and shall be inclusive of all costs. Current and/or anticipated applicable fuel costs should be considered and included in the price quoted. Work must be completed within 360 days after issuance of purchase order or notice to proceed.
