Site work for a water / sewer project in Port Hope, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Approximately 1,100 ft of 8 inch water main and associated appurtenances NE of Main St in between Dean St and State St, and in the alley between School St and Portland St. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete on or before September 15, 2022, and will be completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before November 15, 2022. However, for purposes of this contract, the following applies: The selected Contractor may desire flexibility on the actual start date in order to schedule this work into its remaining workload. The Owner recognizes that the best possible bid prices may be obtained by allowing this flexibility. Therefore, the selected Contractor is allowed to commence construction at a date of their choosing provided that, once work commences, it shall be completed with a full work force without gaps in activity. Bidding Documents may be purchased from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Cost does not include shipping charges. Upon Issuing Office's receipt of payment, printed Bidding Documents or electronic documents on compact disk will be sent via the prospective Bidder's delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method chosen.
