The City of Vallejo Public Works Department (City) is soliciting proposals from qualified service providers for citywide spray-injection pothole repair services in accordance with the Statement of Work described in the Proposal Documents and all applicable Federal and California State laws and regulations pertaining to road repair and safety. Repairs shall be completed using a cationic rapid setting emulsion injection process. The City will select a contractor based on qualifications, experience, and ability to provide the required services at a fair and reasonable rate schedule. The resulting initial contract will be for a not-to-exceed amount of $50,000 with the expiration date of June 30, 2022. At the discretion of City, and upon receiving required approvals, the contract term may be extended and the contract limit increased at a later date. Funding for services is through the annual operations budget of the Public Works Department, including General Fund and Gas Tax Fund, and is subject to City Council approval of annual appropriations. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to provide all equipment, labor, and materials as necessary to perform the work in a safe, efficient and legal manner. This shall include the use of proper knowledge, skills, materials and equipment to maintain work areas in a clean, safe, healthy, and acceptable manner during the entire term of this contract. The Contractor shall furnish qualified crews to provide each contracted service. Contract personnel must be qualified and trained in road repair services. This will include the site staffing supervisor who is able to communicate effectively with City staff and the public, including receiving and carrying out instructions given by City staff and proper authorities.
