To provide the assured continuous supply of dense grade anhydrous sodium carbonate for use in drinking water to the Coquitlam Water Treatment Plant for a period of three (3) years with an option to extend for one 2-year period upon the mutual agreement of the parties. The estimated annual usage of sodium carbonate is approximately 3080 metric tonnes per year. At the request of the Corporation, the Supply Contractor shall provide one (1) set of reproducible originals (along with reproduction rights) of the Product Information Bulletin, Manufacturing Process Description and Safety Data Sheet for the Soda Ash to be supplied. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Corporation reserves the right to award a contract for 3-year term with an optional 2-year extension term, or a contract for five years with no option to extend.
