Prequalification No: 12-17. This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the Limestone District School Board (the "Board") to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for RFQ 22-31A Boiler Replacement and RFQ 22-31B Structural Repairs at Polson Park Public School, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the "Deliverables"). (1) RFQ 22-31A Boiler Replacement at Polson Park Public School: The project includes removal of the existing boiler plant including four cast iron boilers, pumps, piping, vents and associated devices and accessories. Replace with new boiler plant including three new high efficiency condensing boilers, pumps, piping, vents and associated devices and accessories. Prior to removals the system flow rates will be measured, balancing valve positions recorded, and the entire system will be emptied and flushed. In addition to this, the hydronic pumps are approaching the end of their life and are also due to be replaced. (2) RFQ 22-31B Structural Repairs at Polson Park Public School: Work under this project is to repair settling concrete slabs-on-grade and cracking in masonry walls. This project is intended to repair the existing structure and reinstate interior finishes.
