Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Demoing the existing plaza and providing new upgrades to reflect a new landscape including new turf and sidewalks. The Project consists of: Removal of existing outdated masonry walls, piers and planter and replacement with a new planted edge and a stage that enhances the connection between an existing plaza and synthetic turf field. Existing granite caps will be repurposed for new seating. New planting enhancements and replacement of foundation plantings. Existing turf field and concrete pavement in the vicinity will be replaced in kind.. Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the University of Massachusetts - Lowell. Bidders requesting Contract Documents to be mailed to them shall include a separate check for $ 40.00 per set for UPS Ground (or $65.00 per set for UPS overnight), nonrefundable, payable to the BidDocs ONLINE Inc., to cover mail handling costs
