Renovation of an educational facility in Lowell, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 27,790-square-foot educational facility.
Scope : The Project consists of: Falmouth Hall - Work consists of roof replace. of low-sloped roof areas utilizing a "go-over" appl. along with repairs. A new layer of 1-1/2" polyiso. insul. shall be installed (mech. fastened to T & G wood deck), followed by the install. of an adhered EPDM roof system. Work includes replace. of roof drains, and ballasted safety railings. Campus Recreation Center - Work consists of the rem. of contaminated PVC memb. and replace with oil and asphalt resistant flashing.. A total of 27790 sq. ft. (CRC 12105 sq. ft. and Falmouth Hall 15685 sq. ft.). Bids are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.l49 26 to 27H inclusive. Contractor Qualification: DCAMM Certificate General bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, Roofing, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement.
