Site work and paving for a road / highway in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Project will involve the following Pavement milling and asphalt resurfacing on Taylor Drive, Bancroft Drive, Crosby Lane, Rundell Street, Lower Muscatine Road, and Bloomington Street. Chip sealing on Taft Avenue, Taft Speedway, Sycamore Street, North Dubuque Road, Soccer Park Road, and Maier Avenue. The project also includes storm intake repairs, curb and gutter repairs, curb ramp replacements, and new pavement markings as needed. Sealed envelope shall be submitted containing a completed Bidder Status Form and a bid security executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in the State of Iowa, in the sum of 10% of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price Specified Start Date: May 23, 2022 Final Completion Date: November 4, 2022 Liquidated Damages: $500 per day The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities
