Renovation of a detention facility in Corcoran, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Per the owner, as of January 8, 2024, an award has been made for this solicitation. The owner states that a general contractor has not been selected. Owner states that the design drawing phase will be completed in January 2024 and that all project activities will stop at the conclusion of the design drawing phase as funding for working drawings and construction will not be approved this fiscal year. Closed solicitation has been included below for reference. ......... The Project includes a radio communications system with the required infrastructure to support a new radio tower, associated radio equipment, a new radio communications vault, and security fencing to surround both the tower and the vault. The vault will include electrical, network, and climate control capabilities, connection to emergency backup power, and an interruptible power supply. The vault will also be equipped with wireless monitoring, with smoke and intrusion detection systems. The Project will include a lightning dissipation system for the tower structure, as well as a radial grounding conductor system for inside the vault structure. All questions regarding this RFQ shall be emailed directly to Samantha Brammer at Samantha.Brammer@cdcr.ca.gov, no later than 2:00 p.m. on April 15, 2022.A pre-proposal conference WILL NOT be conducted. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
