The work includes maintaining a telephone and voicemail and being available to sell lots, inter remains, and perform general upkeep of cemeteries as well as maintaining records of burials and lot ownership. The Contractor must also supply their own equipment sufficient to perform all maintenance duties and be current on necessary licenses. A surety bond, cashier's check, or other certified check in the amount of $250.00 must be attached to the written bid, as bid security, in order for said bid to be considered. Proof of bonding will be required at the time of execution of the contract. Mid-County Cemetery Maintenance District reserves the right to reject any or all bids not in compliance with prescribed public bidding procedures and may reject for good cause any or all bids or bids considered not in the best interest of the public.
