The Scope of Work consists of performing all necessary work to connect existing septic systems to the County sewer force main, from the service valve at the street to the homeowners existing or replaced septic tank A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held for this project. Questions may be directed to Terence Martin, P.E., Talbot County Department of Public Works, 215 Bay Street, Suite #6, Easton, Maryland 21601 at (410) 770-8170 or tmartin@talbotcountymd.gov. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Bid Specifications. Questions and comments regarding the Construction and Bid Documents shall be directed to Terence Martin, P.E. at the telephone number or e-mail above. All questions shall be submitted in writing by Monday, May 2, 2022. Qualified minority business enterprises (MBEs) and womens business enterprises (WBEs) are especially encouraged to participate. For any subcontracts, the prime contractor shall take affirmative steps to assure that small, minority and womens businesses are used where possible. The County Council of Talbot County, Maryland reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid, alternate, or any portions thereof when, in their judgment, the public will be better served
