Mora County is requesting sealed quotes for Pit Run Material. This bid shall be a multiple award with actual purchases based on the quote price and location of each pit in proximity to the project. All prices must be honored from May 1, 2022 through April 30, 2023, with the option to extend the agreement for additional one-year terms. The maximum size of this material shall not be greater than 1 inches. The contractor shall submit a quote for 1 inches or less Pit Run material in price per cubic yard, the County will measure/purchase material by the cubic yard. Due to variable of funding and weather conditions, Mora County will purchase only quantities it can use per project. Type of material shall conform to Type 1 material, Section 303 of NMDOT standard specifications. The material analysis report must be a current report, dated within the year that the RFQ is submitted. An active/current County of Mora Business License is also required. The County shall be responsible for stock piling, loading and transporting said Pit Run material. The Contractor shall permit authorized County employees reasonable access to the material during normal business hours and after business hours, if necessary. The location of the material shall be available for inspection by the County Road Supervisor, his designee or a NM Department of Transportation Analyst. The Contractor shall submit a Material Analysis Report, in accordance with the pit run standards aforementioned, with the quote or prior to award of Contract. The quote shall be submitted in price per cubic yard. The material testing and design is at Contractors expense. Mora County reserves the right to refuse any material that is deemed unacceptable by Mora County.
