Renovation of a municipal facility in Huntsville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The bids are being solicited for the repair of insulation at the Huntsville Utilities Chase facility located at 1145 Jordan Road, Huntsville, Alabama 35811. The Scope of Work consists of patching and repairing damaged metal building insulation and installing new white reinforced vinyl facing material between purlins over existing metal building insulation on walls and ceilings. Bids will be accepted only from qualified General Contractors licensed by the State of Alabama. Only bids of such Contractors who are licensed prior to the date of the bid opening will be considered. A cashier's check or a bid bond payable to the City of Huntsville, Alabama, d/b/a/ Huntsville Utilities for an amount not less than 5% of the contractor's bid, but in no event more than $50,000.00, will be required to accompany each contractor's bid. The right to reject any and all bids is reserved.
