Site work for a water / sewer project in Huntsville, Alabama. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Huntsville Utilities seeks professional engineering and surveying services for a route analysis, planning, and conceptual alignment for a water transmission main described below. Huntsville Utilities may expand the scope by adding design, bidding support, construction administration and construction inspection services by supplemental agreement. Currently, Huntsville Utilities has approved funding only for the route analysis and conceptual alignment. This project will provide a path to transport finished water from the Southeast Water Treatment Plant to potential developments along US Highway 72 and to northern Madison County. The transmission main will connect to an existing 24-inch main on Old Highway 431 in the vicinity of the intersection of Old Highway 431 and Cherry Tree Road. The transmission main will connect to an existing 24-inch main on the south side of US Highway 72 in the vicinity of Stone Drive. All questions regarding the SOQ must be submitted to Miranda Duke in writing at Miranda.Duke@hsvutil.org prior to 11:00 a.m., November 14, 2022. Questions after November 14th will not be answered. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
