Lot - Outdoor Distribution Substation Steel Structure with an Oil-Containment System, including all bus work, switches, surge arresters, connectors, anchor bolts, steel structure, structural bolts, and other equipment as required to make a complete installation, per the enclosed Huntsville Utilities Electric Department Substation Steel Structure Specification, with enclosed drawings. The oil-containment pit drawing attached shall be incorporated into the transformer foundation design. Your proposal should be submitted in duplicate on the enclosed specification. You may provide supplemental information if you desire. One should be marked original, and one should be marked copy. For purposes of this query we will consider a substation steel structure which meets the requirements of the enclosed specification and is manufactured by: Peak Substation; Associated Substation Engineering, Inc.; V&S Clark Substations; Dis-Tran Products, Inc.; M.D. Henry Company: Substation Enterprises or a proven equivalent. If you propose an equivalent manufacturer, provide descriptive literature which demonstrates that our requirements are met. Huntsville Utilities is the sole judge of equivalency. Advise of manufacturer quoted. Advise of any price break quantities. Quote terms, availability, firm price, and FOB Huntsville, Alabama. We reserve the right to consider alternative pricing proposals. Vendor specified terms or conditions which preclude bid rejection will not be negotiated after bid opening. Envelopes containing bids must be marked with the Bid Opening information. Information must be placed on the outside of the envelope in the lower left-hand corner and include: Bid Number; Opening Date; and Attn: Miranda Duke, Huntsville Utilities.
