The Middle Rio Grande Conservancy (MRGCD) is a political subdivision of the State of New Mexico and is governed by New Mexico State Statutes NMSA 1978, Chapter 73. The District also manages 30,000 acre of the Rio Grande Bosque and recreational and wildlife management activities within a multi-agency approach.
