Site work and renovation of a civil project in Humboldt, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Pre-Bid Meeting Info: No Pre-bid Meeting The extent of work involved includes furnishing labor, equipment, and new materials for construction of the Improvements. The Project includes the following Work: a. Raw Wastewater Pumping Station Replacement o Installation of procured pumps o Replace existing valves, and piping b. Modifications to Equalization Basin Overflow Gate c. Replacement of Grit Pump d. Modifications to existing Biolac treatment basins o Install baffle and floating mixers in the anoxic portion of each aeration basin o Install automatic actuating valves on existing air supply lines o Install dissolved oxygen sensors for automatic aeration control o Install procured aeration blowers e. Install launder covers pf the final clarifier f. Replacement of WAS pumps and WAS control valve g. Update of plant communications, PLC and SCADA systems h. Associated site, electrical, mechanical, and other items as indicated on the drawings or required by the specifications The method of construction shall be by contract in accordance with the Bidding Requirements and Contract Documents for said improvements approved by the City of Humbold Construction minority 1.7% Women 2.2%
