The project consists of the demolition and replacement of an existing Booster Pump Station and associated yard piping, new fire hydrant, electrical SCADA and resurfacing of the existing driveway. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bids or proposals that appear to be in the best interest of the Owner, and further reserves the right to waive irregularities in the bids and to reject any and all bids received. Performance and payment bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price will be required. The bonds must be secured by cash or must be issued by a surety company licensed in the State of South Carolina with an "A" minimum rating of performance as stated in the most current publication of "Best Key Rating Guide, Property Liability." Certificates of insurance naming the Owner as an additional insured and with limits as noted in the bid documents will be required. Contractors submitting bids shall be properly licensed in the State of South Carolina to bid and perform the work on which the bid is submitted at the date of the bid.
