The City of Rawlins, a Wyoming Municipal Corporation ("City"), is hereby soliciting sealed proposals for the purpose of selecting qualified firm(s) to provide civil engineering and professional consulting services for the Pretreatment Plant Startup Project. Impact Assistance funds are available for water infrastructure projects. The Honorable Mayor and City Council have determined that moving forward with the Pretreatment Plant Startup Project is a priority to optimize the City water supply. Questions/Clarifications Due 04/21/2022,Award Date 05/17/2022 Questions should be emailed to agilbert@rawlins-wyoming.com The pretreatment plant was designed to pretreat four (4) million gallons of raw water daily. The City uses between one million two hundred fifty gallons per day (1.25 MGD) in the winter up to six million gallons per day (6 MGD) in the summer. The Pretreatment Plant Startup Project will allow the City to use the existing, unused pretreatment plant to reduce the NTU levels in the water to the diatomaceous filters at the treatment plant. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
