Douglas County will receive sealed bids for an audio/video system in Courtrooms 1 and 2, including an integrated video conferencing system and digital signage displays to be placed outside the courtrooms and in the lobby. At the April regular County Board meeting, if approved, the contract will be awarded to the successful bidder. The County anticipates awarding the contract for the work to the bidder determined to be the lowest responsible bidder. The successful bidder will be required to comply with the requirements under the Illinois and federal law applicable to public works projects including the Prevailing Wage Act. Douglas County reserves the right to accept any or reject all bids, when in the opinion of the County Board of Douglas County, such action will serve the best interest of Douglas County.
