Reference number : 1592000 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-04-19 Submission sent electronically accepted: Non The Office d'Habitation des Maskoutains et d'Acton (OHMA) is requesting tenders for the "Modernization of the elevator" project for the building located at 1925 Avenue Pratte in the municipality of Saint-Hyacinthe under a fixed price contract. CONDITION: Only general contractors or specialized contractors for this type of work having an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and holding the license required under the Building Act (RSQ, cB-1.1). TENDER GUARANTEE: The contractor must accompany his tender with a tender guarantee, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date and time limit for receipt of tenders in the event that the amount of the tender presented is greater than $25,000. The amount of the guarantee must correspond to: ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid, if the guarantee is provided in the form of a bid bond issued in favor of the organization, by an insurance company duly authorized to do business in Quebec and stand surety by the Autorité des marchés financiers (www.lautorite.qc.ca/fr/). This bond must then comply with the provisions of the Bid Bond form provided in Appendix 4 of this document; WHERE five percent (5%) of the total amount of the tender, if the guarantee is provided in one of the following forms: a certified cheque; a mandate; a bank draft; an irrevocable letter of guarantee, made out to the order of L'Office d'Habitation des Maskoutains et d'Acton. OBLIGATIONS OF THE CONTRACTOR: Tendering contractors are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, with regard to their competence, their solvency and the content of their tender. They must inform them of the conditions of the submission and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. The Office d'Habitation des Maskoutains et d'Acton (OHMA) is not bound to accept the lowest or any of the tenders received. Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required. award is subject to final approval.
