The Work includes, but is not limited to: Remove and replace an exterior aluminum storefront system. Install a new interior storefront system to create an entry vestibule with access controls. Remove a portion of an existing storefront and install a new door into the office area. Install new door hardware and electronic controls onto existing doors. Install an electric wall mounted heater in the vestibule. Install new vehicle bollards at the front of the building. Building permits are required from the City of Renton,the Authority Having Jurisdiction of this site. Renton School District has identified the estimated construction cost in the range of $250,000 to $275,000. Certified check, bank cashiers check, or bid bond is required with each Bid, equal to 5% of the total Base Bid only. Make checks payable to the Renton School District; furnish bond executed by a licensed bonding agency authorized to do business in the locality of the project. This Project is not estimated to cost one million dollars or more. If is is selected, then this Project is subject to the apprenticeship requirements of RCW 39.04.320.
