Renovation of a water / sewer project in Waverley, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Work generally consists of upgrades to the existing Silverside potable water booster station at 72 Silverside Drive, in the community of Waverley within the HRM. The Work includes but is not necessarily limited to the removal of existing piping, pumps and electrical in the existing below ground chamber, and installation of new pumps, piping, valves, electrical and mechanical equipment, and standby generator. The work also includes the coordination of a new electrical service with Nova Scotia Power, temporary bypass pumping, and the installation of a new sump pump inside the chamber with associated piping and discharge line; and the reinstatement of all disturbed surfaces to pre-construction condition. awrd is subject to final approval.
