This is a Sources Sought Request for Information (RFI) for an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) construction contract at Hanscom Air Force Base (AFB) Lincoln, Massachusetts. The purpose of this Sources Sought/RFI is to conduct market research in order to determine whether responsible sources exist and if this effort can be executed through a competitive process. This Sources Sought is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this Sources Sought/RFI or any follow up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, Disclosure of the Magnitude of Construction Projects, the anticipated price range is more than $10,000,000.00. The indefinite quantity indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract shall require complete architectural-engineering services for minor construction, repair, maintenance and altercations projects at Hanscom Air Force Base and/or surrounding Federal entities that are the responsibility of the 66th Civil Engineering Directorate at Hanscom Air Force Base (e.g. FAMCAMP, Patriot Golf Course, Sagamore Hill, Electronics Research Annex, Fourth Cliff Recreation Annex, Cape Cod Air Force Station, and New Boston Air Force Station). This IDIQ will consist of a five (5) year ordering period. The scope of the individual delivery orders can vary extensively and may include topographical surveys, environmental studies, investigatory and design services for roads, parking areas, water distribution systems, natural gas distribution systems, sanitary sewer, storm water collection systems, steam and condensate systems, chilled water distribution system, electrical distribution systems, complete or partial renovation of large office facilities, laboratory and specialized facilities, etc. Work consists of furnishing all architect-engineer services to perform complete Title 1A investigatory, Title 1B design, Title II construction inspection services and other A&E services. These include but are not limited to: studies, reports, site investigation with building field survey, asbestos survey, topographic survey, testing, calculations, complete design drawings and specifications, cost estimates, economic analysis, energy analysis, construction phasing, etc. The information requested will be used within the Air Force to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency.
