Site work for an educational facility in Piedmont, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
As of 5/202/2022, project has been awarded but the award amount has not been confirmed. Bidder is being asked to construct a prefinished aluminum hanger rod-style canopy. - Area to be covered is approximately 6'8" x 67'8". - Canopy should be constructed with 6" tall J-style gutter fascia on all perimeter sides, with flat soffit style decking. - Canopy should be supported with 1.5" square Schedule 40 aluminum hanger rods, spaced approx 6' apart across the length of the canopy, approx. 11 hanger rods. - Canopy should drain water using 'drain scuppers' at the front edge of the canopy, approx. 3. - New construction is to match color of current on-site canopies in other areas of the school - Clear Anodized. - Canopy is to adjoin existing ACM metal canopy at entry door. Fabrication/installation should include a rain channel to redirect water at the right side of the existing canopy so it drains toward the outer edge of canopy Questions should be submitted by email to ashleys@apps.anderson1.org and received no later than April 28, 2022 by 2:00pm. Questions will NOT be answered during the on-site visit. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Should the Contractor fail to complete the contract within the established time limit, or at the later date as authorized in writing by the Purchasing Agent they shall pay liquidated damages in the sum of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per day.
