HALO Smart Sensor Bid Specifications and Scope of Work 6- HALO 2.5 Smart Sensors Installed at Meigs Middle School. 8- HALO 2.5 Smart Sensors Installed at Meigs High School. Because this product serves as an integral part of the safety technology any companies bidding will be responsible for the following and should meet the criteria before submitting a bid: o Deliver, install, and program the identified number of HALO Smart Sensors for the School District and/or Individual Schools that are identified in the bid. o Train the end-users and provide on-site support during the implementation and go-live of the Halo Smart Sensors. o Have a staffed office within 50 miles of the county. The office must staff the following: o Certified trainers, installation technicians and service technicians. Required installation, programming and training will consist of the following: o Install HALO Smart Sensors in Ceiling of identified locations. Installation is based on the Smart Sensors being mounted in the current ceiling tiles at a height of approximately 8 feet off the ground. HALO Smart Sensors should be located on a ceiling for the purpose of Air Quality and Vape Detection and should be in an area relatively free of air currents. Avoid HVAC exhaust or return ducts, fans, and areas near the door between two rooms. HALO mounting should avoid areas with significant background noise or vibration. In the event mounting requires adapting poles or additional mounting materials not including in the quote then additional pricing will need to be calculated. o Install Cabling for HALO Smart Sensor Vape detectors. The HALO unit requires a wired network connection (Ethernet) which includes standard 802.3af PoE power. This connection should not be longer than 300 ft (100M). o The company installing must also provide configuration of HALO Smart Sensors. o End user training will be included for the download of software for the management of the HALO Smart Sensor Dashboard. o End user training will be provided for the daily use of the Halo Smart Sensors. o PoE ports to be provided and configured by the School District and/or Individual Schools IT Department. Tennessee Cooperative Purchasing Option: TN Cooperative Purchasing: also known as piggybacking, Meigs County School Distrct reserves the right to extend the terms, conditions and prices of this contract to other institutions (such as State, Local and/or Public Agencies) who express an interest in participating in any contract that results from bids and/or bids. Each of the piggyback institutions will issue their own purchasing documents for purchasing of the goods.
