Site work for a water / sewer project in Murphy, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
THE PROJECT GENERALLY CONSISTS OF replacement of the existing belt filter press, polymer feed system, and associated piping, wiring, and other appurtenances at the Town of Murphy wastewater treatment plant. Completion of work is expected within 45 days of notice to proceed. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. The project generally consists of removal of the existing belt filter press, sludge pump, and polymer feed system at the Town of Murphy wastewater treatment plant and installation of a new belt filter press, sludge pump, polymer feed system, control panel, and appurtenances at the Town of Murphy wastewater treatment plant. Work shall include demolition and removal of existing equipment, installation of Owner-supplied belt press and accessories as detailed in shop drawing submittal, all required electrical and piping connections, coordination of start-up of new belt press, final restoration of project area, and all other labor and material as required. B. Type of Contract 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract
