2,500,000 Gallon Composite Elevated Tank, in Salem, Virginia: The complete cleaning and repainting of the interior wet surfaces, the complete cleaning and repainting of the interior dry surfaces, and the complete cleaning and repainting of the exterior surfaces with containment. Additional Work items include: the furnishing and installation of new deflector plates on beams below the pedestal floor manholes, safety railings with self-closing gate around the pedestal floor manholes, safety railings around the antenna cable openings in the pedestal floors, sleeves around the piping penetrations in the pedestal floors, self-closing gates at walkway access openings, and cushion inserts in the existing feed-through boot assemblies in the access tube projection; the reinstallation of the T-handle plug for the coupling in the bowl; the modification of the piping pit ladder, walkway and access tube safety railing toe bars, and access tube manhole hasp; the replacement of interior container ladder safe-climbing device, existing screening on the overflow pipe flap gate, roof safety railing toe bars, and clog-resistant roof vent pallet; and including other miscellaneous repairs.
