PURPOSE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified firm for consulting services. It is anticipated that this RFP may result in a contract award to a single contractor. Weber County Culture, Parks, & Recreation is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a comprehensive study of the future feasibility and relevance of the Weber County Fairgrounds/Golden Spike Event Center. The scope of the project will include potential expansion, remodel of the existing structures, for current uses or new opportunities, that allow for the strategic direction best suited for Weber County. All phases to include feasibility study, market research, and consulting services for the initial phase as well consecutive phases including but not limited to a business plan through project completion. Contracts may be awarded for one or more phases. The chosen firm should provide excellent customer support when needed. This RFP is designed to provide interested offerors with sufficient basic information to submit proposals meeting minimum requirements, but is not intended to limit a proposal's content or exclude any relevant or essential data.
