The Virginia Department of Transportation is seeking expressions of interest from engineering consulting firms who wish to be considered to provide professional engineering services for the design of improvements on US-17 Business consistent with the STARS study complete in March 2017 (UPC 119113, SMART SCALE Round 4 application #6747) and to construct a new commuter parking lot off ofUS-17 Business on Old Forge Drive (UPC 120524, Interstate Operations and Enhancement Program project). Both projects are located in Stafford County, just east of I-95 Exit 133.The project-specific contract will have a maximum value of $1,750,000. Registration is required in order to view and respond to the solicitation; details and instructions are available at www.bidexpress.com. There is no cost to register. All inquiries shall be submitted ONLY through the Bid Express Q & A section, where responses will be published for all Offerors. All changes, including addenda, will be published at www.bidexpress.com under the selected solicitation. VDOT assures compliance with Title VI requirements of nondiscrimination in all activities pursuant to this advertisement.
