State Street, Suite A Ithaca, New York 14850 (607) 272- 6477 (607) 273-6322 (fax) In general, the Project is an expansion of the Village Sanitary Sewer Benefit Area (SBA) to provide municipal sewage collection for properties within the Village that immediately adjoin Cayuga Heights Road, East Shore Drive and Twin Glens Road.
The Work is generally described as follows: Furnish and install approximately 13,250 lineal feet of 12- and 8-inch SDR35 PVC gravity sanitary sewer; 6,000 lineal feet of 6-inch C900 PVC sanitary force main; 1,250 lineal feet of 3-inch HDPE sanitary force main; five highway crossings by jack and bore method; two duplex sewage pump stations; together with pre-cast concrete manholes, service laterals, asphalt pavement replacement, landscape restoration, and work zone traffic controls.

Amendments can only be accomplished by means of Addenda issued by the Engineer. Written questions must be addressed and submitted via email to David A. Herrick, P.E. Questions must be received by 5:00 PM on May 4, 2022. Questions received after the deadline will not be answered. All such bid securities will be returned no later than the forty-sixth day after the Bid opening. Minority- and Women-Owned Businesses are encouraged to bid. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Village.
