The Village of Owego, Tioga County, New York, invites sealed bids for the WWTP Emergency Generator project. This project shall consist of the installation of a new diesel-powered emergency generator and automatic transfer switch installed with the intention to turn on automatically upon loss of power to the Village of Owego Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work shall include the removal of the existing diesel-powered generator and storage tanks, capping of the unused fuel piping, capping or closing building HVAC penetrations, provision of required electrical/ communication conduit within and exterior to the building, site preparation, provision of the generator pad, provision of protective bollards, provision of the emergency generator and walkway, and completion of all necessary site restoration. Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed, post-paid envelope marked 'Village of Owego VVWTP Emergency Generator Bid". All bids must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the contract documents.
