This project consists of sealing existing airfield pavements at Venice Municipal Airport with an FAA Approved P-608-R Rapid Cure Rejuvenating Sealcoat (and Aggregate) for Airport Runway and Taxiway areas. Project hours consist of daytime and nighttime hours according to the provided construction safety and phasing plan. Project includes approximately 100,000 SF of reflective marking removal [prior to] and replacement [after] sealcoating, and 135,000 SY of P-608-R asphalt surface treatment composed of natural and refined asphalt materials, additives, and light oils, for taxiways and runways with the application of suitable aggregate to maintain adequate surface friction.
