Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wharton Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Placement of approximately 1,150 tons, more or less, 2A crushed stone applied as a leveling course through a paver with vibratory screed at an average 2" depth, compacted. Per ton price for placement of #4 and 2A shoulder material along both sides of entire roadway length at completion of road resurfacing. Shoulder placement must be completed immediately following paving. Successful bidder to provide all materials, equipment and labor. Appoximately 1,375 sq. yds milling to 6" depth at various identified locations and backfill with 6" 19 mm hot mix, compacted. All Superpave and Leveling material must be placed in one (1) pass. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Municipality. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $100.00 per calendar day. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, payable to Wharton Township. Work is subject to State requirements governing payment of prevailing wages. Amounts are approximate. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any portion thereof.
