Site work, remodeling and renovation of a mixed-use development in Silver Spring Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the remodel of a military facility.
This is a Design-Bid-Build (DBB) construction project to construct a concrete floor in Building 9 (Railroad Track Pit) that runs from the North to the South along the east side of the interior of the building. This new concrete floor will be needed to support 14 new inventory storage units. The Railroad Track Pit area measures approximately 460 feet long by 15 feet wide and 41 to 44 inches high. The concrete floor thickness must be able to support the load of each of the 14 VSU's weighing approximately 20,000 pounds each when filled with material. Additionally, guide rails will be installed along the edge of the dock. NAICS Code: 238110 - Poured Concrete Foundation and Structure Contractors. Contract value is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00 Proposals must be good for 60 calendar days. RFI's/PPI's are due April 12, 2022 by 3pm on the RFI form. Wage Determination: The applicable Department of Labor (DoL) Wage Determination for this task order is General Decision: PA20220018 03/25/2022 and PA20220085 02/25/2022 will be listed on Attachment 2 and Attachment 3, respectively. This project will install a new reinforced concrete floor slab inside Building 9 track recess. Existing railroad track, ties and ballast will need to be removed. To install the floor, modifications to the existing underground duct work will be required. All incidental related work is also included. *Amendment 1 has been released.
