Site work and paving for a civil project in Altoona, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work for the Heritage Homes Storm Water Improvements - Phase 4 project includes all materials, equipment, and labor necessary for construction of 18" diameter storm sewers by trenched construction and 8" diameter footing drain collector sewers by trenchless construction. The location of improvements is primarily along 15th Street SE from 1st Avenue South to 3rd Avenue SE, and along 4th Avenue SE from 15th Street SE to 13th Street SE. Work includes approximately 160 LF of 18" storm sewer, approximately 1,400 LF of 8" footing drain collector, and approximately 1,100 LF of 2" footing drain service stubs, and related work including manholes, connections; pavement, driveway, and sidewalk removal and replacement; erosion control, surface restoration and miscellaneous associated work. Site Directions: From Interstate 80, NE 72nd Street/1st Avenue North interchange, travel south 2.1 miles to the intersection of 1st Avenue South and 15th Street SE No preletting conference will be held for the project
