Renovation of a library in Brampton, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

The purpose of this Contract is to provide pricing for the following scope of work: 1- Scope of Work One: Gore Meadows Library Interior Renovation includes the interior renovation to an existing one storey Library located with the Gore Meadows Community Centre and Library at 10150 Gore Road, Brampton L6P 0A6. The renovation will provide for a new internal entrance into the library, a new makerspace room and a new program room. 2- Scope of Work Two: Cyril Clark Branch Minor Interior Renovation includes the provision for a new staff work room door assembly and glazed sidelite and minor electrical renovations. 3- The intent is to award both Scope of Work One and Scope of Work Two to one Contractor. Separate Contracts will be prepared for each scope of work and the Contractor will be required to invoice each scope of work separately. The construction start dates are as follows: 1-Scope of Work One - Gore Meadows Library Interior Renovation: a. Contract Award: Early May 2022. b. Administration/Shop Drawings Phase: May 2022 to June 30, 2022. c. On-site Construction Phase: July 2, 2022 to October 31, 2022. d. Substantial Completion: October 21, 2022. 2-Scope of Work Two - Cyril Clark Branch Minor Branch Renovation: a. Contract Award: Early May 2022. b. Administration/ Shop Drawings Phase: May 2022 to June 30, 2022. c. On-site Construction Phase: To occur as soon as the door and frame assembly and other required equipment are delivered. d. Substantial Completion: Estimated by October 21, 2022.
