Work required under this Contract includes furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, etc. for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewer line which includes the pipe bursting of approximately 482 linear feet of 8-inch CP grouted into the original manholes. Approximately one service connection is visible in the video inspection. Access to the video inspection of the existing sewer line is available upon request. Bids from corporations not chartered in Georgia must be accompanied by proper documentation that said corporation is authorized to do business in the State of Georgia. No Bidder may withdraw its Bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The winning bidder will be required to post a Performance and Payment Bond for this project, once selected. The successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work required under this Contract no later than August 31, 2022. The City may retain from the Contractor monies which may become due in the amount of FIVE-HUNDRED DOLLARS ($500.00) per day for each calendar day that the completion of the work may be delayed beyond the specified completion date. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive technicalities, and to make an award deemed in the City's best interests.
