Public Safety Building Flat Roof Replacement Project Notice is hereby given that Boone County Government is requesting bids for a roof replacement project at the Boone County Public Safety Building facility located at 615 N Main St, Belvidere, IL 61008. The total proposal price shall include all associated costs to remove and install a new roof, including but not limited to: Remove the existing membrane roof system, including insulation, sheeting, flashings, perimeter edge details, and other related appurtenances. Replace any damaged insulation (proposals should specify R-value). Install a custom fit membrane assembly roof system. Install new curb flashings, wall flashings, pipe flashings, drain details and perimeter edge details per manufacturer's specifications. Install protective walkway pads as needed. Install pre-painted, 24 gauge steel perimeter edge metal, gutter and downspouts. Provide a minimum 20 year manufacturer's labor and material warranty. Miscellaneous items normally associated with the project contemplated herein as recommended by the manufacturer, but which may not be specifically identified, shall be furnished by the Provider as if they had been identified herein, without additional costs to Boone County. Bid must be accompanied by a bid guaranty which shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount equal to 100% of the contract price, within ten (10) business days after the bid award.
