The District seeks to procure high-quality mowing and string trimming services for the 2023 seasons at eight park site locations. The District reserves the right to reject any or all responses that may serve the District's best interests, waive technical or legal deficiencies, and accept any proposal that best serves the District's interests. The successful bidder will be selected based on the District's evaluation of each bidder, reference checks, and the final approval by the Park District Board of Commissioners. Bids for services shall contain the following documentation and submission of any required supporting attachments. Incomplete bids may be rejected. Provide mowing and string trimming of all turf within property boundaries at the eight different park sites or as otherwise designated as mowed areas. Pricing shall be divided into cost per site and double-cut pricing for soccer and baseball fields according to location and acreage provided. Contractors are strongly encouraged to familiarize themselves with the sites to provide the most accurate and competitive pricing. Aerial maps are available upon request. Upon being rewarded the mowing contract, contractor shall provide a W-9 form to the District. The Belvidere Park District reserves the right to make such inquiries regarding the contractor's qualifications and reputation as it deems necessary to evaluate the contractor. The contractor may be requested to execute releases to obtain information from third parties. Failure to execute such releases upon request may result in rejection of your proposal.
